Context Marketing is a strategic communications firm founded by Bob Kenney in 1999 to help companies and organizations address the marketing challenges and emerging trends and issues that influence brand and company reputation. We also provide crisis management support when an organization faces an unforeseen event and needs to quickly create a compelling voice in the marketplace.

Bob provides clients with more than 30 years experience in strategic communications gained in management positions with national and international public relations firms where he planned and executed marketing and reputation-enhancing programs for leading companies and organizations.

His broad expertise encompassing public relations, marketing and research enables him to deliver highly focused, results-driven communications strategies and programs that address the diverse societal trends and issues that influence public and stakeholder perceptions of companies and brands today.

Prior to founding Context Marketing, Bob held management positions at Ketchum and Edelman, where he ran the San Francisco office for eight years. He also was a partner in a leading independent San Francisco-based public relations firm.

Two programs he created for Context Marketing clients have been recognized with Silver Anvil awards by the Public Relations Society of America, including best U.S. reputation management program.

Today, Bob draws on a team of consultants with extensive experience in diverse facets of marketing communication, reputation management and crisis communications.

Bob is frequently asked to comment on consumer trends and his thoughts on emerging issues and company crises have recently been featured in such national media as The New York Times, Advertising Age, Adweek and PR Week.
